How to Make a Romantic Breakfast for Two

My husband and I love having special breakfasts on the weekends when we can. We use it as a time to be a little more indulgent with our recipes than our weekday breakfasts and to share how our week went with each other. Breakfast can be a very romantic meal if you want it to be. Use these ideas for any morning, or when a significant occasion comes around. Show that special someone how much you care!

Waffles and Pancakes

Hot and buttery, waffles are a great way to start the weekend! The recipe ingredients are simple or use a pre-made mix. If you do not have a waffle maker, cook some pancakes! Pancakes are easy to make, use the same ingredients as waffles, and the mix-in and topping options are infinite!

Eggs

The possibilities for eggs for breakfast are endless! Scrambled eggs are quick and easy. Feeling the need for decadence? Try making Eggs Florentine. Or if you have any leftover ingredients from the week throw them in some omelets for the two of you!

French Toast

French Toast is a very easy breakfast to prepare. Take slices of bread, soak it in a mixture of eggs, milk, and vanilla, and fry until golden. It can bring a smile to anyone’s face!

Not much of a Cook?

There are a few things you can throw together for you and your significant other that do not involve any cooking!

  • Fresh Fruit
  • Yogurt and Granola
  • Overnight Oats
  • Cereal
  • Breakfast Smoothies

Sit Back and Enjoy!

No matter what you make your significant other will appreciate the effort! Have a lovely romantic breakfast together!
