Garlic knots are mainly found at pizzerias around the United States. They are typically made from scraps of bread or pizza dough, covered in oil, herbs, and cheese then baked. Many people like to dip them in marinara sauce or use them to scrape up the last of their pasta sauce.

Garlic knots are a favored food in our household. When my husband and I moved into our first house there was this local pizzeria that we always ordered from. The pizzeria always had this special where the customer got a free order of garlic knots if their order reached a certain dollar amount. Of course, we always ordered an extra salad or box of wings if it meant our order could include free garlic knots.
